We’re Named One of Baltimore’s Best!

We’ve always been fans of Baltimore Magazine‘s annual “Best of Baltimore” feature.  This year’s 35th annual edition hit newsstands today and we are very proud to announce that this little site has been named one of the city’s best!

Few blogs are as well-informed about their area of expertise as Beer In Baltimore (BeerInBaltimore.com).  Whether he’s heralding the arrival of new brews from local breweries or interviewing Clipper City Brewing Company partner Hugh Sisson, editor Brad Klipner gives Baltimore’s brewing industry the attention and respect it deserves.

What can we say? We’re speechless!  Not about the award, but because we’re on the same page as WBAL TV’s Sandra Shaw!  We kid, we kid… sort of.

Thanks a million to Baltimore Magazine, to all of our readers, Twitter and Facebook peoples. It’s been a great year and a half.  The amount of hits on this site has grown exponentially with each passing month and we’re just getting warmed up.  Being able to talk about good beer and interact with like-minded folks is a blessing.  

Folks, we’re at the peak of a craft beer revolution unlike any other and here in Baltimore, we are fortunate to reside in such a great city with an extensive beer history and residents who love and appreciate good beer.  But the awareness of good beer needs to be more widespread. Education is key. So help us spread the gospel of good beer to the masses.
